This series will acquaint/reacquaint
participants with the White family at the personal level. There will be stories,
family insights, and anecdotes to help participants feel closer to the life,
ministry, and gifts God gave Ellen White.
- Hearing From God, Or Not - The call for Ellen White to go to
Australia and God’s silence in the matter. The story of a timely letter from
Ellen White in Australia that arrived just in time to prevent a crisis in Battle
- Trying to Serve Two Masters - The Faulkhead Story - The story of
N. D. Faulkhead, Adventist employee of the Echo Publishing Co. in Australia, and
Ellen White’s special message to him that saved him from imminent disaster.(42:44)
- A Faith Venture - Early on in her mission to Australia Ellen White
called for the establishment of a college to train workers. We will see how God
led in this faith venture even though there was no money and marginal support
for the idea. The story of the furrow illustrates God’s hand in this venture. (44:11)

Great-grandson of James and Ellen White, Pastor Charles White grew up in Mountain View, California. He attended Pacific Union College and received a BA in Theology; then went to Andrews University where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He has pastored churches in Central California, Washington, Oregon, Northern California and Arizona. In July of 2015 he completed serving as the senior pastor of the Camelback Adventist Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Charles and his wife, Dianne, have ministered there for over 15 years. Together they have five children and ten grandchildren.
