This series focuses on the theology of the Cross. It looks at the great themes of sin, holiness, and love and how they compete and are reconciled at the cross. By listening to these presentations, you will gain a new or much deeper appreciation of the issues that surround the cross and how they were resolved by Jesus death and resurrection in such a way that an avenue of escape was found for sinners. Sin here is exposed and described in all its seriousness; holiness is talked about as the complete purity found in God's character that will not allow him to accommodate sin or those who choose to invest in it; the complications brought to bear by love are also described. The resolution that came at Calvary shines very brightly in these lectures and, after watching them, you will have a renewed sense of joy and appreciation for what God accomplished in Jesus at Calvary.
