Morris D. Lewis graduated from Walla Walla College with a ministerial major. After graduation he served as a pastor for seven years in the Montana Conference moving every nine months on the average. He received a call to be head of the religion department at Southwestern Junior College (later to become Southwestern Adventist University) and moved to Texas in 1948 and served in that capacity until 1968. During this time he studied the Bible extensively and became known for his unique approach to theology that stressed that God is Love. He influenced his students in such a positive way that many were changed for the better for the rest of their lives. His loved to study the Bible and especially the sanctuary and wrote a book on the subject.
    After retiring from SWJC, he started lecturing on various Bible subjects with the Sanctuary being his primary focus. He made a high priest robe that followed the biblical pattern and lectured in many countries and several continents. He recorded many lectures of various topics on cassette tapes which was the latest technology at the time. He would sell these tapes to support his ministry. These tapes have been converted to digital CD’s.  These lectures cover the sanctuary, God’s wrath, last day events, Armageddon, interpreting Bible symbols, Christmas story, and Joseph’s story.  Morris Lewis died in Dec 1993.
