FAQ - When will the media be ready?

Q.  When will the Blu-ray's/DVD's/CD's/MP3's/web archives be ready, posted, shipped, etc?

A.  There are many factors that go in to large scale media production.  Some of these factors are out of our control.  Because of this, in many cases we can't just give a date when media will be ready as it might change.  For obvious reasons that is not a good idea.

Here is a list of just some of the factors that can have a large effect on when media will be ready:

• Speaker media release forms (camp meetings and large events):  We must have these legally to begin production.  In many cases our featured speakers can be incredibly busy and it might take several reminders before we get the form back and can begin.
• Production:  We do not rush our productions through, but work from a very thorough production check list.  This insures that quality media is both produced and received.  Every step is checked along the way to verify quality.
• Technical problems:  Sometimes there are technical problems that we have to spend a lot of time fixing.  (IE., missing powerpoint slides or bad sound at a location.)  When problems like this occur we can spend vast amounts of time inserting all the proper slides in the proper places or fixing bad sound.  We are often at the mercy of the equipment available at a location and sometimes they can be problematic.  The more problems there, are the more time we have to spend to fix them.  Since this is nearly always beyond our control we ask for your patience.
• Stock:  We do not keep large volumes of stock on hand.  In this day and age it it not prudent to do so because many programs are popular for a period of time and then the people's attention moves on to something else.  Producing the orders as they come in is our current model.  This prevents large amounts of money wasted on stock that doesn't sell, and can really be summed up in one word; stewardship.
• Staff:  We do not have a large staff.  In fact most of the time there are only two of us in the office working.  We often work very long hours so please be patient with us.  Please also remember that the more times we have to stop and answer questions like "when will _____ be ready" the longer it will take our limited staff to get it done.
• CAMP MEETING SEASON: June through September is a VERY busy time of year for us.  We are in and out of the office during this period recording at multiple Camp Meetings and are on the road at times during these months doing live productions.  Any orders placed during this time will be processed as quickly as possible, but we ask that you please provide additonal time for your order to be created as we receive very large quantities of orders during these months.
• Want to make things faster? 
  • Consider donating.  In many cases we can only work as fast as the equipment.  Better equipment = faster/better quality production.
  • Consider volunteering.

Q:  Can you notify me when _______ media is ready?

A:  We make public announcements any time that we release media.  Here is how you can be notified when a new release is ready:

• Email newsletter:  All our media releases are announced to our email newsletter subscribers.
• Facebook:  All our media releases are posted to our Facebook page.
• Twitter: All our media releases are posted to our Twitter feed.
