Eating is an important and enjoyable part of our everyday life. Unless we eat, we die. But eating involves more than just staying alive. Food also plays an important role in our social interactions with family and friends. The Gospels record at least 24 stories or incidents in Jesus’ ministry on Earth that revolve around food or eating. Each one provides an interesting insight into our relationship with Jesus – and how we can grow spiritually.

California native Dale Galusha has served 16 years at Pacific Press Publishing Association—the last six years as president. Prior to that he was a pastor and evangelist in the Northern California Conference for 13 years. Galusha holds a Master of Divinity from Andrews University and a bachelor's degree in theology from Pacific Union College.
